Following on the success of previous exhibitions of Jonathan Sainsbury’s work the highly acclaimed Perthshire based artist will again be exhibiting his paintings in the Long Room at Audley House. The exhibition will be open from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm on 5th, 6th, 7th November and from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 8th. Admission is free.
Original framed paintings in watercolour, watercolour with charcoal and oil will be on sale - starting at £750 for small watercolours. The subject matter is inspired by English and Scottish countryside and poems reflecting on it - landscapes, game, dogs, songbirds and wildlife. Jonathan will also be pleased to discuss commissions with prospective buyers.
Jonathan Sainsbury has exhibited in most major UK sporting galleries, the Scottish Royal Academy, the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wisconsin USA, Christie’s London and the British and Swedish Natural History Museums. His work hangs in public and private collections throughout the world. In the autumn he presents oils and watercolours in the Long Room at Purdey where a selection of his work is on display throughout the year.
